2002 — Junior Season
Started 47 times in addition to making 16 appearances on the mound...batted .252 with five home runs and 30 RBI...scored 23 runs and set school season record with 14 HBP...had nine multi-hit games...recorded team season-best nine-game hitting streak from Mar. 2-17...went 4-3 with a 5.67 ERA in 39.2 innings pitched...gave up just two earned runs in 5.1 innings to earn win at Butler (5/11)...drove in three at Kent State (5/1)...went 2-for-4 with walk-off homer and three RBI against UW-Milwaukee (4/26)...pitched Vikings past Toledo (4/16) with six solid innings...scattered six hits and three runs to earn victory at Detroit (4/7)...slammed home run and drove in five at Ohio (3/17).
2001 — Sophomore Season
Was a starting rightfielder and first baseman in 56 of 57 games...also saw action in eight contests as a pitcher, starting twice...led the Vikings in hitting (.343), slugging (.581), on-base percentage (.415), hits (68), home runs (10) and RBI (48)...posted a .983 fielding percentage in right field and at first, committing only two errors...had team season-best 15-game hitting streak from Mar. 3-31...had 16 multi-hit and nine multi-RBI contests...named to MCC All-Tournament team...batted .524 in five MCC Tournament games, with home run and four RBI...slammed two home runs and drove in five in the second game of a double-header versus Kent State (4/24)...collected six hits and eight RBI in twin bill at Illinois-Chicago (4/7)...blasted three-run homer and drove in five against Brown (3/18)...as a pitcher, recorded nine K’s in 17.2 innings.
