After playing his first two years in sunny southern California, Chris Moore has brought his blue-collar game back to his native Cleveland. A skilled post player who is comfortable playing both facing or with his back to the basket, his knowledge of the game has helped to make him a better player. He has transformed himself over his redshirt year, using the time to get stronger in the weight room and scuplt his body to prepare himself for playing in the Gary Waters system.

PRE-CLEVELAND STATE:
• Came off the bench to play in 30 games during two seasons at UC Santa Barbara.
• Saw diminished playing time as a sophomore in 2005-06, averaging 1.5 points and 1.0 rebounds in 13 games.
• Averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds a game in 17 games as a freshman in 2004-05, shooting .536 from the field (15-28). Missed several contests mid-year with a concussion.
• Set career highs with 10 points and four rebounds vs. UC-Riverside, going 4-for-6 from the field.

HIGH SCHOOL:
• First team all-state choice by the Associated Press as a senior at Lakewood St. Edward High, playing for coach Eric Flannery.
• Averaged 21.5 points, 10.9 rebounds and 6.0 blocks per game as a senior, helping team to a second place finish in the state tournament.
• Tabbed as the District Player of the Year and earned first team all-county honors from the Plain Dealer as a senior.
• Set prep career highs with 35 points and 24 rebounds in a win over top-ranked Canton McKinley during his senior year.
• Averaged 12 points and nine rebounds as a junior, including a season-high 33 points and 23 rebounds vs. Lake Catholic.
