Victor Morris' versatility will be counted on again this year to provide the Vikings with significant minutes at both guard positions. The most experienced of the Viking guards, Morris' leadership ability on the court has led to him earning a starting assignment in each of his first three seasons. A reliable ball-handler -- he has more assists than turnovers in his career -- his exceptional court vision and good decision-making skills allow him to excel at point guard while his quickness and penetrating ability make him a dangerous scorer.

2005-06 SEASON:
• Scored a career-high 19 points against UW-Green Bay (2/25/06), going 8-for-14 from the field with 5 assists and 4 rebounds.
• Scored in double figures in consecutive games, tallying 12 points vs. UW-Milwaukee (2/11/06) and 15 at Wright State (2/15/06).
• Totalled 11 points at Michigan State (12/16/05), going two-for-three from three-point.
• Scored 11 points with five assists and a career-high six rebounds vs. Rochester (11/26/05).
• Scored a team-high 16 points vs. Florida A&M (11/19/05), going five-of-nine from the field (3-of-5 from three) before fouling out.
• Changed his number to 5 (his high school number) after wearing No. 3 during his first two seasons.

CLEVELAND STATE CAREER:
• Leads all Vikings in career games (81) and minutes (2,047) played, starting 44 times during his first three seasons.
• Started 20 games as a true-freshman in 2003-04 and added double-figure start totals in each of the last two seasons.
• Has missed just two games in his career, at Youngstown State (1/22/05) (knee) and vs. UIC (2/12/05) (ankle).
• Scored 10 points with four assists at Loyola (1/3/05).
• Poured in a sophomore season high18 points at Eastern Michigan (12/23/04), going 8-for-13 from the field.
• Led team with 16 points at Loyola (2/26/04), going 7-13 from the field.
• Scored 12 points with a career-high nine assists vs. Eastern Michigan (2/21/04).
• Erupted for 15 points against UW-Green Bay (2/5/04), connecting on 6-of-8 field goals including 3-of-4 from three-point.
• Posted 15 points, going 5-of-9 from the field and 5-of-6 from the line, vs. UW-Milwaukee (1/22/04).
• Scored 10 of CSU's first 12 points in the second half vs. Wright State (1/8/04), finishing with 13 points.
• Had a freshman season high 17 points against Drake (12/30/03).

PRE-CLEVELAND STATE:
• Second team all-state choice as a senior at Inkster High, playing for coach Steve Brooks.
• Averaged 21.3 points, 7.0 assists and 4.5 steals a game as a senior to earn a spot on the Michigan basketball coaches all-star team.
• First team all-league, all-area and All-Metro West choice.
• Also named to the all-conference and all-region teams after guiding team to a 22-2 record and a fourth place finish in the state.
• Earned team MVP honors as both a junior and senior, helping squad to a district title.
• First team all-league and all-district as a junior.
• Three-sport letterman in high school, earning four letters in baseball, three in basketball and two in football.
• Named to the all-conference team in football as a senior after grabbing 12 touchdown catches.
