CLEVELAND - Cleveland State freshman swimmer Warren Vickers (Durban, South Africa) has been named the MCC Swimmer of the Week for his performance last weekend.

Vickers, in his first appearance in front of the home crowd, finished first in both the 200 IM (1:55.30) and the 100 free (46.64). With his victories, he helped lead the Vikings to victories against Duquesne and Xavier.

The Vikings are in action again this weekend when they host Wright State and Illinois-Chicago Saturday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 p.m. in The Robert F. Busbey Natatorium.
