Much will be asked of Hughes, who enters his rookie season with the Vikings as the projected starter in the 197 pound class. Very talented overall, Hughes is a dangerous and aggressive wrestler who breaks down his opponents by his sheer relentlessness.

Was runner up at Division III Ohio State Championship at 189 lbs senior year, finishing with 45-3 record...140-30 career record...Third place finisher at states junior year at 171, finishing with 54 wins...member of football and track teams...all-state Middle Linebacker.
