Scouting Shaun Mitchell
Mitchell, a member of the National Guard, enters his second year as a Viking. He brings a disciplined wrestling style to the table and has a strong competitive drive as he looks to contribute in a packed 149 pound weight class, and may be needed to wrestle up at 157 as well.

Won three matches in rookie season with Vikings...competed mainly in open competitions.

High School
Holds school record for wins (92)...three-time district champion and two-time sectional champion at 140 pounds...named first-team all-city and team's Most Valuable Wrestler as a senior...also lettered in football.
