"We love Sylvia's ability to see the field as a targeting forward and produce threatening second and third runs. She's recently developed a sound ability to hold the ball under pressure and like all good forwards, is crafty and driven to finish balls in the box. She's a tireless worker and should become a dangerous attacker who will be a big part of creating goal-scoring chances for us during transition."

Three-time all-league choice in soccer at Shorecrest High, playing for Mindy Dalziel, the sister of CSU head coach Derrek Falor. . . missed most of her senior campaign with a knee injury...nominee for the school's athlete of the year in each of her first three season. . . named team's hardest worker as a junior. . . played basketball in her first two seasons and ran the 100 and 200 meters in track as a senior. . . played club soccer the last five years for the Evergreen Soccer Academy, which won the state title in 2003.
