After seeing time as the designated player last season, Lia Gordon will see some spot time at first base and at the designated player position.

2007 - Freshman Season
Played in 29 games, starting 18 as the designated player...hit .327 with 18 hits, four homeruns and 12 RBI...belted three home runs in six games at the Horizon League Championship, including a walk-off in the bottom of the ninth to clinch win against Butler (4/11)...earned a spot on the all-tournament team.

High School
Second team All-Ohio selection as a senior, hitting .486 with 35 RBI, a school-record eight home runs and a .943 slugging percentage... four-time first team all-conference selection at catcher...led team to a berth in the Division III state semifinals in 2005, hitting .419 with seven home runs and a .579 slugging percentage... team MVP as a sophomore...also was an all-district and all-conference selection in volleyball.

Born Sept. 9, 1988... daughter of George and Debi Gordon...father was a two-year letterwinner on the Youngstown State rifle team...has an older sister, Amanda, who played volleyball at Lake Erie College...National Honor Society... communications major.
