Beth Greulich established herself as one of the premier underclassmen in the Horizon League last year as she garnered Co-Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-League accolades. A versatile athlete, Greulich can play just about any position at the net and will be counted on to carry a heavy load of the offense and defense for the Vikings this year.

2006- Freshman Season
Selected as the Horizon League Co-Newcomer of the Year, becoming just the third Viking to earn the honor... also named to Horizon All-League and All-Newcomer teams... led the conference in hitting percentage (.364; 276-59-596), which was third best in a single season at CSU... started all 28 matches... finished fourth on team in kills (276) and kills per game (2.76) and third in blocks (87)... recorded 12 matches with double-digit kills, including in six of final seven contests... hit better than .350 in 18 matches... averaged 4.0 blocks over the final five matches of the season... named to Oakland Invitational All-Tournament Team (9/8-9/9)... chosen Horizon League Player of the Week on Nov. 6 after averaging 17.0 kills and 5.5 blocks and hitting .444 (37-6-63) in matches against Wright State and Butler... recorded career-high 19 kills against Wright State (11/3/)... also tallied seven blocks against the Raiders to approach first career double-double... posted career-best .647 hitting percentage (12-1-17) against Loyola (9/29)... hit a combined .571 (25-1-42) in three wins at the UNC Asheville Volleyball Classic (9/2)... averaged 14.5 kills and 3.5 blocks in two wins over Butler.

Helped Troy High with 198 blocks during her senior year, playing for coach Andy Luciano... two-time first team all-league selection... earned league Scholar Athlete Award her senior year... team MVP as both a junior and senior... three-year letterwinner... played club volleyball for Dayton Juniors, leading team to a fifth-place finish at the 2004 national tournament.
