Cleveland State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics Basketball Ticket Priority Point System
In 2001, the Cleveland State Department of Intercollegiate Athletics developed a priority point system to reward supporters for their generosity and loyalty. The system is designed to provide CSU with a fair and orderly way to determine access to post season and limited - availability events, including NCAA, NIT and Horizon League tournaments. The updated system was designed to give season ticket holders and donors the opportunity to easily calculate their own priority points. It is important to note that season ticket holders prior to the 2006-07 basketball season will not lose their current accumulated priority points. The updated system will simply add to your current points form here on out.
What are priority points?
This system was designed to appropriately recognize generosity and loyalty through:
1) purchasing season tickets; 2) donating to the Viking Club; and 3) consecutive years of donating to the Viking Club. This system is utilized to determine the priority of upgrade requests, assign newly purchased seats, relocation requests, and post-season game tickets, including NCAA, NIT and Horizon League tournaments.
When are priority points updated?
Priority point totals will be updated after renewal of each basketball year. Priority points will be updated and assigned on your season ticket invoice prior to the start of the new basketball season.
** Please note that season ticket holders will not lose any of their accumulated priority points. The updated priority point system will annually add to your current accumulated total.
